How To: Clear Browser Cache in Microsoft Edge
When you use a browser, like Edge, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
To clear the cache in Edge:
Some settings on sites get deleted. For example, if you were signed in, you’ll need to sign in again.
To clear the cache in Edge:
- On your computer, open Edge.
- At the top right, click the three dots.
- Click Settings and then Privacy & Services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the boxes for Browsing History, Download History, Cookies and other site data, and Cached image files, You can also choose to delete passwords, autofill form data and more by checking the additional boxes.
- Click Clear now.
