Step 1: Check Physical Connections

Step 2: Restart Your Device
- Restart your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
- Check if the issue persists after rebooting.
Step 3: Check for Internet Outages
- Visit your ISP’s website or call their customer support to check for known service outages.
- Use a mobile device with cellular data to check online outage maps (e.g., Downdetector).
Step 4: Run a Network Troubleshooter
Windows:
- Open Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
- Click Network Troubleshooter and follow the prompts.
Mac:
- Open System Settings > Network.
- Use Wireless Diagnostics for Wi-Fi issues.
Step 5: Check IP and DNS Settings
- Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac/Linux).
- Run
ipconfig /all
